JAC recognises the unprecented times the world is currently facing right now with the global pandemic of the COVID 19 impacting many countries and lives. Much of the world is relying on connectivity that our industry collectively provides for critical support, which would not be possible without our partners in our supply chain enabling to make it happen.

The wellbeing of our customers, employees and suppliers is of the greatest importance to us at JAC and we will continue to ensure our approach, and the way we act reflects the best available information from authorities.

We understand these times could raise questions such as how do I keep my businesses and factories running? How do I look after the workforce? It is imperative now more than ever to ensure we continue to act responsibly and look after the health and wellbeing of people working in our supply chain in this time of uncertainty.

To ensure we keep people safe and reduce pressure on our supply chain at a critical time, JAC has deferred the large majority of verification activities planned for the next weeks such as on-site audits until the situation improves. We are also looking into alternative means such as working with our suppliers using technology to remotely verify conditions as well as continue to learn about how businesses are coping and support where we can.

In the meantime, we ask all of JAC supply chain partners to ensure to act responsibly when it comes to our social, ethical and environmental obligations. When so many of the world’s healthcare systems are overloaded, we urge you to operate with extra caution in looking after your employees health and safety to ensure no one working in the supply chain is put at risk.

Thank you for your support and stay safe.
